De’Ja has 10+ years of experience working in the Human Service field. She has provided advocacy for at-risk youth, mentoring, assisting with community resources and empowering even vulnerable adults. De’Ja has volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul and Maricopa County, AZ as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster care children. She has recently become a certified Peer Recovery Specialist. De’Ja is very passionate about human services work because every single day she gets to make a difference in the quality of people’s lives which ultimately gives them hope for a brighter future.
Her vision for Dare II Dream and Pathways To True Freedom Foundation is to be powerful influences to those in underserved communities. When De ’Ja is not working, she loves to travel, spend time with her children and family, interior decorating, and reading.
